If you go down Beer Hill from the east exit of JR Ebisu Station and walk about 600 meters along Ebisu-dori towards Shirokane, you will see a lantern for “Spice Bar” on the left side of the street. That’s the shop.
At night, it also turns into an izakaya.
I ordered the keema curry from the lunch menu.
The order of choice is rice → side dish → type of keema curry.
For rice, you can choose jasmine rice or multigrain rice. I chose multigrain rice.
For side dishes, you can choose three from the five or six that change daily. I chose spiced carrot rapeseed, meat and miso eggplant, and meat and potatoes.
For the keema curry, you can choose chicken, pork, or fish. I chose fish (tuna).
It also comes with salad and soup.
The water carafe was stylish.

The curry is a small portion, and the other side dishes are eaten as side dishes… I think.
I tried it right away… it was sour, with a subtle spiciness, and very delicious. I couldn’t help wanting to eat more lol
The saltiness of the tuna and the sourness of the curry made the mixed grain rice delicious!
The minestrone-style soup changed the flavor, and I ate the side dishes one after another.
Although they were side dishes, the eggplant and potatoes were delicious enough to be a main course, making for a varied lunch.
The spicy carrot rapée, with its sweet carrot flavor and the aroma of cumin and coriander, makes a hearty palate cleanser alongside the lettuce salad.
This is a masterpiece that makes lunch even more enjoyable by allowing you to enjoy a variety of dishes at once.
The calm interior and jazzy music playing create an atmosphere that makes you want to relax forever. This is a recommended restaurant for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal.
