It’s a short walk from Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, but there’s a delicious curry restaurant.
The restaurant is located along Shin-Ome Kaido, just past the Kitahara Shopping Arcade and Toyotama Overpass.
The most recommended dish is the coarsely ground tantan keema curry. It’s called “tantan” on the label, but it doesn’t seem to contain any sesame seeds.

You can think of it as an original keema curry.
When you put it in your mouth, it doesn’t feel very spicy at first. But then the spiciness gradually builds up.
Perhaps because of the subtle fruity sweetness, it has a refined spiciness.
It’s not too spicy and easy to eat.
The meat is coarsely ground, so unlike regular keema curry, the larger pieces have a pleasant texture.
It also goes well with shiso leaves and fukujinzuke pickles.
It’s a spicy keema curry with an exquisite subtle sweetness.
