A delicious chilled Chinese noodle shop I came across at a ramen restaurant near Nakano Five-Way Crossing.
As usual, there is a poster advertising “summer only” cold Chinese noodles at the entrance.
This time, I ordered gyoza and chilled Chinese noodles”Hiyashi-Chuka”.
First, cold Chinese noodles.
Seaweed, roasted pork, lettuce, cucumber, egg, ham, and cherry tomatoes are all beautifully arranged, and the noodles are slightly thick and smooth with just the right amount of chewiness. (See the video for more details.)
The sauce is sweet and sour without being too strong, making it easy to eat. The obvious flavors are mustard and vinegar. It was so delicious that I finished it in no time, and I wished I had ordered a large portion.
Next, gyoza.
The gyoza dumplings are soft and have a soft texture. They are full of meat juice. (Did it just taste like shrimp?) They are full of umami flavor. They were delicious!
