A retro steakhouse located near JR Higashi-Nakano Station.
Today at this steakhouse, I ordered the “mixed grill.”
It was a plate of hamburger steak, chicken steak, and beef steak. Two large slices of bacon were placed on top of the meat.
There were so many sauces (about 20 types) that it was hard to remember them all, so I chose demi-glace for the hamburger and garlic soy sauce for the steak. When it was served, it wasn’t very piping hot…maybe?!
Anyway, on to the food review.
Avoiding the bacon that was on top, I started with the hamburger.
The well-cooked chunk of meat had a delightful texture, full of homemade flavor. I came here for meat, so this hamburger was exactly what I was looking for. It wasn’t juicy, though lol.
The demi-glace sauce had a subtle flavor. Surprisingly light.
Next, chicken steak.
It was topped with sliced garlic, which was a nice touch. When I cut it and took a bite…I think it was chicken breast…? It wasn’t greasy, and seemed like a healthy choice. Because the meat was light, the sauce had a strong soy sauce flavor with a strong garlic kick, making it a perfect dish to eat with rice.
Finally, beef steak.
Although it was a little thin and lacking in volume, it was cooked well and had a soft texture. It was also seasoned with garlic soy sauce, making it a meat dish that goes perfectly with rice. This simple sauce is the best. It suits me!
The two slices of bacon are delicious because they’re bacon, but they’re still large, which makes them even more delicious.
The price of the rice doesn’t change even if you order a large portion. It was a dish worth the price of 1,580 yen. It came with a drink. …Huh? Where’s the salad? ? Did I read the menu wrong? Or did they forget to bring it? Oh well, lol
