Indian curry in Nakano

Indian curry in Nakano

The shop is located a short walk from Nakano Station, to the left at Arai intersection on Waseda Street.

They operate as an izakaya at night, and serve a variety of curry lunches during the day.

You get a drink and a mini salad, and change from 1,000 yen! Reasonably priced😊

What’s more, they offer extra rice and refills for free!!

This time I chose the vegetable curry set, extra rice, and “normal” spiciness, between medium and mild.

The drink was, of course, lassi.

The curry is Indian curry. It’s mildly spicy because it contains vegetables. I like the rich flavor.

It contains carrots, potatoes, beans, and broccoli, and the onions seem to be melted. But it’s very tasty and crunchy.

I personally love it! It’s a very tasty curry.

I don’t know who the owner is, but it seems to be made by an Indian… It was also served in the hall.

I’m sure it’s seasoned to suit Japanese tastes. It’s perfect for me!

The lassi tastes like Calpis with a slight milky flavor, and goes well with the curry.

The amount is just right, and it’s good value for money as a lunch.

Next time I’d like to try the medium spicy version with fried chicken or other toppings.

Yes, it’s really good!
