Pork ginger stir-fry, a delicious local Chinese restaurant I haven’t seen in a while.
A local Chinese restaurant near the Ebisu Nishi 1-Chome intersection.
I arrived just after 1pm, and there were more than 10 people in line.
I got to the end of the line and it took about 45 minutes before I could get in.
There were a lot of men, but there were also a few women…it must be a good restaurant!
Due to my mood today, I ordered the “Shogayaki set meal.”

The sound of the chef shaking the iron pan and the sizzling of the food got my appetite going! I can’t wait any longer!
When I picked up a piece with my chopsticks, the meat juice glistened. The moment I put it in my mouth, the pork exploded with flavor! The freshness of the ginger tightened the aftertaste, and I felt like I could keep eating forever.
It goes great with rice! The rice soaked in the meat juice and sauce was a blissful moment. I finished it in no time.
Pork ginger stir-fry is simple yet has a deep flavor. It’s a classic menu that is loved by everyone, regardless of age or gender.
To put it in the words of Hikomaro, pork is “the jewel of meat!”, ginger is “the magician of flavor!”, and this ginger stir-fry is “eternal youth!”
Please try the deliciousness of pork ginger stir-fry for yourself!
Following a healthy eating order, I started with the shredded cabbage…yes, it was delicious with the ginger pork sauce. Next, the meat…loin meat. Mmhmm, it was just the way I like it. The ratio of soy sauce to ginger was perfect, and the strong flavor was appetizing. This was the best ginger pork that went well with rice.
The rice was cooked a little on the hard side, but it was delicious! It was piled high in a large bowl. By the way, extra large portions are free, so I was happy with the amount.
The shredded cabbage is even more delicious when eaten with the onions that are coated in sauce! And it’s even more delicious with the meat!!
The sweetness of the pickles on the palate cleanser was also a nice touch.
The light soup was seasoned to match the strong flavor of the ginger pork that goes well with rice…I guess. I appreciate the contrast in strength and weakness of the flavors.
The main dish, shogayaki, was delicious, and the flavors of each of the supporting ingredients were well-balanced, making this a complete set meal. It’s been a while since I’ve had such delicious shogayaki.
I’m sure fried rice would be great too!!
