Customers line up before the restaurant even opens.

Write your name in advance on the waiting list located on the left side inside the entrance. ➩ They’ll call you when it’s time. ➩ Enter the restaurant. ➩ Order.

Since this was my first time, I decided to try the “large katsudon”!

And then it arrived!! And… it was huge! Too big!! It came out in a bowl that looked like a ramen bowl.

First, we had miso soup with lots of ingredients. With wakame seaweed, daikon radish, Chinese cabbage, and even meat, it was almost like pork miso soup. And it was delicious.

And then the main attraction, the katsudon…I picked up a piece of pork cutlet with my chopsticks…it was over 3cm thick. It had a soft texture and was very satisfying to eat! Hmm?! This spiciness…it seems like the meat was fried with coarsely ground black pepper smeared on it. The black pepper on top of the sweet sauce…it added a nice accent and was delicious.
