A curry restaurant at the west exit of Ikebukuro Station.
Healthy curry with a spicy kick.
The restaurant’s name and the menu are both interesting.
You buy a meal ticket to order, and then the waiter verbally confirms the level of spiciness and the amount of rice you want, and you pay separately in cash.
This time I tried the large serving of grass curry. By the way, a large serving of rice costs an extra 100 yen at 400 grams.

First, I took a bite of the curry… As it is a health-conscious restaurant, it has a medicinal herbal flavor. It feels like spices that are good for your body are working. It has a unique taste with a subtle spiciness. It’s a new taste. It’s hard to describe… but it’s addictive.
As the name “grass” suggests, it is topped with a lot of spinach. It has a mild taste when eaten with curry.
The manager said that it is also delicious when eaten with pickled ginger… I tried it right away. I see… it is spicy in a medicinal sense, so it matches the taste of pickled ginger.
The rice was 400 grams, but I ate it all up before I knew it.
Additional notes
The spoon is distinctive, narrower than a regular spoon, and the scooping part looks long.
