A grill restaurant located near the intersection south of Ebisubashi.
It’s a small restaurant with rows of two- and four-seater tables, decorated with American Marvel-style props.
I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was bustling with families with small children and groups of two or three young people.
The restaurant’s specialty seems to be the mashed potatoes…but that alone wouldn’t fill me up, so I ordered the loco moco as my main dish, along with a salad and mashed potatoes as a set. (You can choose between 160g, 240g, or 320g of hamburger steak. Apparently, if you stay quiet, you’ll get the 160g steak.)

I started with the mini salad. Leaf lettuce and French dressing…crunchy, tangy, and appetizing.
And then, the hamburger steak…it was plump, round, and thick, but cooked all the way through. The demi-glace sauce mixed with the meat juices gave it a rich flavor. The flavor wasn’t too heavy, which felt refined. I like it.
Because it’s not too heavy, it was well balanced to mix with rice. And mixing in a soft-boiled egg really brought out the richness. After all, the hamburger steak and fried egg are the main attractions of loco moco.
I ate the accompanying vegetables with rice. Deep-fried pumpkin, thoroughly drained of oil. Refreshing, healthy, and sweet. The demi-glace sauce didn’t overpower the flavor of the ingredients, so I could really enjoy the pumpkin.
The thick hamburger steak is what makes the meat so juicy and meaty, along with the delicious combination of the soft-boiled egg and demi-glace sauce. Applause for the perfect thickness!
Other vegetables served with the loco moco were broccoli and cherry tomatoes, each of which fully brought out the natural flavor of the ingredients.
The delicious balance was so good I wanted more, I could have eaten two, maybe even three servings…!
After finishing the loco moco, I reached for the restaurant’s signature dish, the mashed potatoes.
One spoonful… Mmm, so smooth. It felt like I was drinking a rich soup. Rich and delicious! The restaurant’s recommendation was spot on.
However…
It was a set, so it was a mini size… too bad! Next time, I’d like to order a larger dish by itself.
Today I had the loco moco and mini mashed potatoes, but this is a grill restaurant. So, next time, I think I’ll come back for something more substantial, like a steak.
